Amy brings a unique and valuable synergy of clinical experience, compassion, and practical experience to the P.A.R. Leadership Team. As an RN Case Manager and Certified Diabetes Educator, Amy knows the many physical implications of addiction, as well as the emotional impact on families and loved ones. Her critical thinking and assessment skills help us to make sure that we are constantly striving for excellence in bringing thoughtful and effective whole-person recovery tools to our P.A.R. CODA outreach program and to the Body of Christ as a whole.
In the Recovery World: Amy helps many navigate critical life decisions in her professional life. In addition, she brings a valuable cache of life experiences and insights in dealing with the many aspect of codependency through her years of personal experience in Al-Anon. Amy is resilient in her tenacious pursuit of continued learning and understanding of whole-person restoration in body, soul and spirit.
In the Christian Community: Amy is a disciplined student of the Word of God in her daily study and prayer. She brings that passion and love for God and His Word to her women’s Bible study group and to another Bible study group that she co-facilitates with her husband, Mark. Amy is a worshiper and has been involved in worship ministry. And we can’t prove it but we at P.A.R. believe she has a special anointing for running marathons and mountain trail runs. She is such a blessing to our ministry team and to the move of God in bringing restoration to those who struggle with codependency and brokenness.
